Founded in 1907, Ashworth is recognised as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of pipe and drainage systems, valves and associated products into both the building services and process industry markets. We provide products from a limited supply chain of the leading branded manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality of product and supply of materials.

Operating out of branches in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London, we support our customers in delivering their projects on time and to budget.

Operating within the Mechanical, Public Health, Industrial and Process markets require us to stock and supply high quality branded products suitable for critical applications. We operate to ISO9001, ISO14001 and are registered under the Achilles® Supply Chain Management and Safe Supplier schemes.

Support

We have approximately 100 colleagues working within the branch network and head office. The vast majority of our teams have had many decades industry experience which we see as a great strength to our business.

We deliver to major multi-million pound capital projects where solutions are required to meet complicated logistic plans, including managing multiple sites and contractors in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. We offer in-house pipe cutting and grooving facilities up to 24”. Within the industrial market we also understand the importance of test certifications and we procure products where source of origin is crucial within the specification such as Western European mills.

Our transport fleet operate to FORS Silver and our vehicles are equipped with HIAB off-loading facilities complete with all the latest health and safety equipment to safely convey material to site.

To minimize our impact of our operations on the environment, the company has a focus on waste reduction and each branch operates waste segregation to reduce landfill. We have installed LED lighting systems to reduce energy consumption, our vehicle fleet employs the Masternaught® traffic guidance system to plan the most efficient routes to reduce Co2 and fuel costs and we are embarking upon a roll out of electric vehicles.
